Will a magpul MOE handguard fit a 9.6v mini?

Ok so the ares m4 comes 9.6v ready or so I am told. But when I got it I got 8.4v because I am tight and didn't want to shell out for the custom m4a1 9.6v but because a MOE handgaurd doesn't taper off like the standard grips will it fit a normal 9.6v mini or will I still need custom m4a1 ones?

I am using a 9.6v mini in mine mate, should be fine

it fits any mini battery that will fit in a regular m4 handguard

Yeah but a 9.6v mini doesn't fit in a standard handguard but I was wondering if it would fit this.

It does. My m4 uses a 9.6v mini and is fully MOE'd out.
