    Bump?

    I'm not sure if this is the right place to put it but...

    its like ....bumping your thread to the top of the list, as they are sorted in order of mostr recent, so if you say bump, it is seen as a new post and the tread goes to the top of page 1

            Yes as brown said "bump" is simply "bumping" your topic to the top of the list. Meaning your thread might create more interest..

              And when used in a sales thread, for some unknown reason it tells people that all of a sudden you want to give your things away insead of selling them. Wiered.
