You can feel the quality of it, and a quick look at any of the parts will tell you.

ok but i may not have the chance to see / feel it before i buy.
won't it have trades in a certain area such as the TM M14's?

Clones will not have loads of trades down the side just the made in china bit with the hop unit. TM will have made in japan, Tokyo marui etc all down the barrel in visible view.
