Slinging a MAC 10?
25 August, 2010, 20:15
Hello. I recently bought a TM MAC 10, and am very impressed by it. As it is more accurate than my ICS M4, and the Hi-Caps hold more, I will be using it as my primary next GZ Woodland game. So, how do you sling one? Theres no loops of anything like that, so what can I do? Any ideas will be appreciated

Re: Slinging a MAC 10?
there are several ways to do this
loop of para cord and a carabeena is the easy way - make shift 1 piont sling
or single point sling
or get a sling ring upgrade which attaches to the slide out stock
all of the above would attach to the stock which is not ideal
i have used a MP5 shoulder holster which works ok
best solution is to drill the body and add a sling ring
:D

Is that one of the Mil-Force ones? How do they attach, and is it still easy to shoulder the weapon?

NO WAY! Only got it yesterday and I would manage to drill through the gearbox or something.....

Does the back sight not have 2 holes either side of it? If it does just put a split ring (like you have your keys on) through it and put a 1 point sling on that.

Re: Slinging a MAC 10?
you takke the upper received apart before you drill it
as for the MP5 holster - it comes with a strap to attach to the handle and its easy to use
google nineball sling ring
that replaces the pivot of the stock and is easy to fix
rather than drill - you could get some strong glue and glue one on
