To Scar or not to Scar that is the question

hi guys
im new to airsoft and im looking to buy a scar i have looked at a few reviews and it dont look good i know the parts dont last forever and i know 10,000 shots and you will need to look into parts
i just realy want to know is the parts pricy and are they easy to replace
also i have used the G36 it a bit heavy is the scar just as heavy??
and the question is would you buy 1??

hehe i have an ARES Scar-L and i love it, it's an absolute demon when it comes to skirmishing. Tough as nails and looks pretty nice aswell.
YES they are reputed to be heavy and that is correct, they are quite heavy, but thats nothing a well positioned sling can't fix (in my view)
i really do reccommend buying a scar, just don't get a chinese brand, go for Ares,CA or VFC. never tried a G&G scar so i can't make a comment on them i'm afraid.

yes go with the above post. Avoid JLS at ALL costs.
If you like gas rifles, bear in mind WE do a scar but they arent of the best quality and will need upgrading internally.

10,000 shots is only two/three skirmishes. It should last stock up to about 50k at least if its a reputable make.
