Can you tell me what the differences are between the ICS M4 and the ICS M4
carbine
,I've noticed the difference in the stocks but what else is there?...

Stocks and therefore battery but thats it although the sportline versions are plastic and use cheaper parts i.e motor

Do you mean the differences between the plastic-bodied "Sportline" versions and the full-metal ones, or are you referring to a specific model?
Generally speaking, the only difference will be the stock (as you mentioned) and barrel length. Internally, they will be pretty much identical.
The only differences apply to the plastic bodied guns, which have nylon fibre bodies and a different motor from the full-metal ones. Otherwise, they are mechanically identical.
Can you be a bit more specific?

I meant identical in material metal or plastic,whichever.
I just wanted to know what designated the carbine in difference,cheers..

The ICS M4 just for example can be brought in both plastic and i think its alloy.
But there are many many different forms to the "M4" itself.
