Hey guys an update, we opted for a jg g36c, it's nice and cheep on zeroone and two tone cheers to lockdown lol, I wasn't for this in the end as its not a m4, it's pretty well known for just working, and the fact is a v3 as wel , I have a load of m4 mags, and ak mags, so paired that with my 3d printer, I'm sorted for that already as I can print adapters or make if needed, same with the folding stock, I live look strange.... But I might design a m4 stock adapter for it also if needed,

    Thanks for your help guys!

I'd never considered looking at DE, if someone mentioned them I'd think of marketstall springers lol, but apparently this is a real game changer for the money, only thing not proven yet is the longevity in use ?, but definitely worth a punt I think, it's on my shopping list when I get back playing.

Looks good to me, lots of people hate on DE, but their Springer shotguns are good value, and their UMP is an excellent gun for the price, so I would definitely consider this for your wife

Good old classic MP5. Lightweight and a good one is pretty darn solid

I had a similar issue outfitting my son with a gun, it needed to be light and compact due to his age/size. I opted for an short M4 platform (Specna Edge), which being metal bodied was a touch heavy, and the internals are made of cheese. I would opt for a plastic bodied M4 in hindsight. And probably not a Specna.

G36C's are OK, but bulkier compared to the M4 platform. The G36C stock, whilst slightly shorter than other G36 variants, is still longer than the shortest M4 stock setting, so suitability depends on your wife's stature.

JG make a G36c which is well regarded (I had one for a while), but I hear that the CYMA model is very very similar. Both are under £100 if you are happy to order from well known European companies (approx £85 plus £15 postage). They won't set the world alight in terms of performance, but being V3 Gearbox based, are pretty dependable. Many site rentals are JG G36Cs for a reason.

CYMA have recently updated the internals in their guns, especially the low-end CM51x series, which can be had for £60. Pheas Airsoft on YouTube has posted a few videos about them. All plastic, very light, and so cheap that they are like Bic Biros. Use it, abuse it, break it, bin it (or sell the parts), buy another.

    Just my 2p.
