Re: Looking for a good mp5
If you do go for the ICS, I would advise you to select a 1 joule-spring instead of a M100. My ICS MP5 SD2 was firing at 360 fps with the M100 from Z1
I can't speak about which MP5 is best, since I've only used the TM and ICS MP5s, so I'm just going to input my experience of them.
The ICS is a very sturdy AEG and I haven't had any problems with it, so far...
I personally found the stock range fine, nothing to boast about, but it easily holds its ground in woodland. The accuracy is quite good and I don't feel the need to invest in a tightbore. Also, with a Guarder SP85 spring installed, over 10 shots the fps deviated by a range of only 4 fps. A good air seal or a consistent spring (or both) I suppose.

Re: Looking for a good mp5
Does the ca b&t mp5 come with metal bushings as standard?
looking to go for the sd2 or sd5 can some one tell me the difference all i can tell by the pictures is the sd2 is designed for right handed shooters while the sd5 is for left and right handed shooters? any other differences? I am right handed but when i get to a corner i change to left if i need to shoot round and expose less to the enemy. what does the B & T stand for? And does anyone know if the laylax (nitro Vo.) RIS for the mp5 will be avaliable again can't seem to find them anywhere. last thing has the 3000rd electric drum mag stopped being made for the mp5?

Don't know about the rest but if you put a drum mag on it it will be you vs. the rest because no one will like you.

Re: Looking for a good mp5
damn right im special
and i wondered how long it would take for someone to bring up systema, personally i prefer the ICS to the B&T, simply because it would tank a tank shell to destroy it :p

Re: Looking for a good mp5
Thank you too all your helpful advise guys,
i decided to go for CA B&T MP5 SD2, i was very tempted by the ics because of the spring upgrade and price until a suddern random increase of price of all ics guns it seems at zeroone by about £20!? which must of only just happened in the last few days as i've been scanning the web for mp5's for the last few weeks now, this pretty much made my mind up.
