Acog w/ Doctor vs Eotech w/ Magnifier

hey guys

i am looking at getting some optics for my scar and i cant decide between have a 4x acog with the doctor red dot on top or an eotech 557 wit ha 4x magnifier.
in essence they are exactly the same (apart from looks and i think they are equally good)

so i am looking for comments from you guys, your experiences, whats the eye relief like? etc

acog definately.
not only is it two separate optics (better value)
but from personal experience, magnifiers give a terrible field of view :/

I'd go with the ACOG, I can't get along with a magnified eotech, I always have trouble getting them into focus

Better to have a decent scope and a less than awesome red dot than a bad scope with a decent red dot.

I'm also going to side with the acog to, my illuminated one is the best scope i've ever owned by miles.

what is the eye relief like on the acog though? i used to have one but you literally had to have your eye touching the scope to see through it properly (this was a cheap 4x one)

ive got the g&p acog with doctor sight and its the best acog i have owned. eye releif is pretty good and the doctor sight is pretty cool. i would reccomend the acog to anyone, also i think it looks alot better than an eotech

Most airsoft scopes i have used you need to be right up close to it, the worst being the SUSAT scopes, i personally have an ACOG with doctor sight and love it, its easier to switch from a magnified scope to the red dot, no need to flip the scope out of the way, and personally i think they look alot better.

ACOG gets my vote all the way.
