SRC mp5 parts with TM mp5 parts

I've heard that SRC stuff do not fit with most TM parts is this true? because i compared a TM gearbox to a SRC gearbox, and used both of them in the other parts;
TM with SRC: feeded like it was a new gun...

SRC with TM: anyways, the feeding seemed to work when it wanted...

So does this mean i cannot use SRC parts in TM?

Gearbox internals are the same.

The SRC Mp5 was built from the ground up to make it more of a 1:1 scale so getting mags to work will be hard unless they are just SRC mags.


TM Is just TM

It's the same Hopup unit, but different gearbox, would this still work?

So you have a SRC Mp5 , Everything is SRC except the gearbox?

Just want to build a mental picture

Oh right ,Just slot it in and just find out for your self.

Nothing bad can really happen from it.

Ditective time! TMA has a JG which after some of his threads I guess he has had some troubles. So he has a JG which is a clone of TM so he want to know if the SRC blowback (which is beening sold in the sales
section) will fit his gun?!

That is right, my JG mp5 is a direct clone of TM, so i am wondering if SRC Gearbox would fit inside this JG gun.

Prob's wont because it has blow back and the JG isn't designed for it.

frankly if your going to buy an SRC gun just to strip it down to save a JG I think you should really think twice, if your going to buy an SRC gun why not just keep it as is it will be much better than your JG.

it's really just the gearbox, SRC are built from the ground up yes?
It's not a clone of TM but I've known how to remove the blowback spring...
as it is attached to the spring guide.

I would just buy a brand new JG GB(£30) and send it to TbStalker to get it reshimmed and greased up for about £10 all in
