AEG or Sniper

iv played airsoft before and im quite happy playing with any gun accept shot gun.

i thought its about time i bought my own gun , my mate recommended buying of zero in so here i am xD

i have around 70 pounds to spend on my first AEG or Sniper rifle.

could some one help me find some ,

i like mp5's but i dont know what to get.

Hey mate, welcome to the forums.

Have you been sniping before in a skirmish? theres hundreds of threads on here talking about sniping and why you should/shouldnt try it-I think youd be better with an AEG personally as most start with an AEG and move from there. Besides, if you dont like playing with a shotgun (Im assuming its a spring one) well thats the same sort of boat with a spring sniper at 1J if you know what I mean.

I have played with my friends M234 Sniper rifle , but i prefer AEG but im not too fussed on what i get , just if it fits in my price range , im not looking for supreme quality i just want my 1st gun that i can tune up and customize ect ... if you get me.

i would advise a AEG becasue sniper is a more hide and wait game where as weilding an AEG you can do all sorts to hide in a bush for an ambush to run at a heavily fortified defensive fort :P

kk , iv made up my mind an AEG but iv got a limited Budget , 70 pounds ish ...

Any suggestions . iv looked over forums but alot of its around 140 ect....

+1 to MiniSnipa's suggestion - that Cyma AK47 would be a great starting AEG, and I quite like that paint job. As well, the extra £20 would leave you with a bit to do something small to it. I'd say buy some new bearings or something along those lines...

EDIT: That £20 would clearly have to go towards fixing the fire selector.
