accesrories for g36k g608-4

Can any one help me I've got a g36k g608-4 I want to get a silencer for it but there's no specific one for the gun I tried to put my mk23 silencer on it but it didn't fit. Not sure if its because its not the right size or because of the clockwise and anti-clockwise turn. I've seen an adaptor for a g36c adaptor so you can attach 14mm silencers do I need to get that or am I doing something wrong

TM mk23 suppressors are a different thread size to normal and only fit mk23s, they are 16mm I think and the g36 should be 14mm negative
