Re: Radios for airsoft
to start off with if you dont wanna spend much id suggest you just buy a cheap 8 chanel walkie talkie set as you always get two and most of them take batterys so no poxy chargers also most people have there radio attached to a ptt (push to talk) and the to there headset so the radio is always hidden hence it dont matter what you get as even the cheap ones work to 2 1/2 km witch is more than enough for airsoft as they have 8 chanels they will work with any other radio aswell as long as ur on the same station lol id recomend looking on the bay first if you get a cheap set dont think sound quality will be crap as its just as good on most brands if you need any more help pm me

Re: Radios for airsoft
if a radio is two way, does that mean that you can only talk two ways or can you talk with many people at the same time if you are at the frequency?

Re: Radios for airsoft
Nope, Two way means the units can both send and receive instead of being like an FM radio which only receives.

Yes, if you are all on the same frequency you can all communicate to each other.

Re: Radios for airsoft
Been using the Midland branded G7 for a while now. Have to say these work well in a woodland area. They range in price and other models. You should be able to get something for around £50 upwards for a pair.
