Painting Project
8 January, 2011, 19:33
Hi all. Sorry if this is in the wrong section
I have decided that I am going to paint my M4 in a camo style.
My gun is an M4 and it has a plastic body and some other plastic parts. See pictures.
Is it better to take the gun apart to spray it?
I just need a guide as to what to do regarding the metal and plastic parts. ie prep? paint? etc
Sorry if this seems a bit simple of me but could do with a hand.
Cheers guys
Dom

Re: Painting Project
I wouldn't take it apart, else you won't know what it will look like in the end. Metal parts should probably be wiped clean with water, same with the plastic. Then allowed to THOROUGHLY dry before painting

Re: Painting Project
Yeah make sure you close the bolt cover thing, and masking tape things like the fire selector and the mag release
