  • ICS M4A1 vs. MP5A4

I've narrowed my choice down to two AEG's. Not sure which to buy!

ICS M4A1 or the ICS MP5A4?

    MP5A4 - http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/produc...oducts_id=4053

    Thanks again, Milo.

Both will perform equally, get the one you think looks better.

      Leaving it alone = MP5
Sticking on bits of MagPuss and the like = M4

for that ICS doesn't like the aforementioned magpuss ... so big thumbs down if thats what you want. You will need to file/cut bits all over the place to make it work with magpul.

mp5 all the way, but even then, I'd say save the little bit extra for the metal version, the sportsline has a different motor ussually that whines when you fire ...

Yep turbo 2000 unless theyve changed it recentley, as noisey as the real steel
However the 3000 isnt a silent assasin either.

My M4 Sportline had a a 3000 in it, and RPM was around 950 (Very Good). Unfortunately they have a habit of destroying the piston teeth every 5000 shots.

Are they both better than the G&G M4A1 Blowback?

One question are you a big guy. I'm 6,5 and find the none SD MP5 difficult to hold comfortably (forgrips to small) other than that internally they are pretty much the same and just as good.

ICS MP5 all the way. i bought mine broken, put £103 into it which included a tightbore, a new hop unit and an all metal gearbox, and its happy as larry. the range is amazing, as is the accuracy. it fires at a good constant 290 FPS and does whine a little, but is all metal and feels awesome. i also rewired it to the handguard, although it is a solid stock model.

TBH dont let us tell you what to buy, we can only suggest and report on, ATEOTD its up to you mate.

I own both. Both are great weapons, though I've upgraded most of the M4 so it's barely the stock Sportline m4 anymore. The MP5 was perfect stock and has never missed a beat. The only thing it needs is a rail for my aimpoint.
