Re: Tokyo Marui M14
If buying BN Full length or SOCOM... better leave the internals alone 'till something breaks. Maybe a tightbore but not the internals. TM M14 full length will simply own any woodland skirmish site with its range and accuracy second to none (IMHO).
Mine's still stock internally and haven't even replaced my stock inner barrel. It rules every department... be it Accuracy, Reliability, Range, etc. Was bought summer of 2006 (by previous owner).
Never knew TM M14 SOCOM came out 2004

Re: Tokyo Marui M14
I own both a socom and full size M14, I use the full size for woodland as a DMR/Sniper and the scocom for smaller sites.
I have had AB Mosfets fitted in both, springs to bump them to around 340, metal bushings and a new selector as both started shooting auto when in Semi.
Other than those, both are stock, and I wouldnt change a thing!

Re: Tokyo Marui M14
I have used both a TM M14 full length and SOCOM model (Which i own), they are both outstanding guns. With the hopup correctly set they are pinpoint accurate using .25g bb's which i use in all my guns. Whatever you point them at they will hit. Installing a tightbore or upgrading to 350fps also helps. These guns have great stock parts and will last a lifetime if properly maintained.
