    Paypal trading safety question.

    Just a quick question I would like advice on:

    I know you are 'covered' by paypal if you send an item which has a tracking number and requires a signature upon delivery. However does this protection still apply if I send something [Royal Mail] first/second class recorded? I haven't actually used this service before (snail mail noob) and I don't know if a tracking number will even be supplied -it just says I will be able to obtain a signature when I am using their Electronic proof of delivery service.

    I'm guessing if you send a screenshot or something to paypal this would act as proof that you did send and they have received?

    Thanks for reading and I hope someone can explain this better.

    as long as you pay extra for recorded then you will have a tracking number

      RM recorded delivery requires a signature hence the extra cost...a tracking number is supplied via a barcode..
