Re: Numbers on guns and Accessories
Some people do it to replicate rack numbers. ie a weapon and accessory that is supplied by a military force or government and is logged out to each soldier/contractor etc
I think that's correct anyway.....

Re: Numbers on guns and Accessories
There called butt numbers .
For example..If you were a squaddie you would be assigned a rifle and you could go to the armory and say butt number 14 and that rifle would be yours and no one else's it would be zeroed to your eye ..
So that's why people paint the number on the stock for realism ..
Hope that make's sense

Re: Numbers on guns and Accessories
On the sa80 they just used a black permanent marker on the rubber butt just behind the H&K logo . But you could use a white paint marker pen from a model supplier ..

Re: Numbers on guns and Accessories
Number my mags so if one stops feeding or something, i know which it is when i chuck them back down on the deck/in my bag.
Don't see the point of numbering a gun, don't think it looks that good either, but the beauty of airsoft, each to their own
