For general use either would be fine, it would be worth having the galaxy checked out and maybe a few things put right for long term reliability and it would still be cheaper than the TM.

If you were looking to use it a project gun, particularly if internal, I would only recommend the TM, it will give you far less hassle with aftermarket parts. Even though the galaxy is a clone, they like many other clone brands don't accurately replicate the many of the mechbox dimensions, as such many aftermarket parts that were designed and made for the TM don't always fit so well in clones. It's not to say that they are incompatible, but you are more likely to find your self needing a dremel!

I had a TM mP5 and the motor gear striped on the first skirmish...My Cyma AK47 is still going 2 years later with no issues.
