A vague request!

Hey all, long time no see! Those of you who know me will know i was a regular of GZ until about last August. Since then ive moved away from the south and havent been airsofting. Sacralige i know.

Ive still got my guns, a TM Sopmod and a HK 416. With the weekender coming up, im thinking it might be time to get my skates on, re-register on the ukara database, sell my old weapons and upgrade to something new in time for the weekender.

First things first though:

How much would people say a Sopmod, with 5 mids, 2 hi caps, 2 batteries, upgraded spring and batteries, tightbore barrel and a holotech sight is worth.

How much would a HK 416 (make not know until i check it out when i get back home lol), battery and about 8 mags. I dont think its a rubbish make, and its had some upgrades but will have to talk to the DMR who did the work on it. Trust i think it was you, where you at!

Secondly, because im after a new weapon, but dont want to change my rig (warrior rig with m4 mag pouches) i need some advice. What gun, using M4 mags, would you buy if you had a budget of like £600 to buy the gun and do some upgrades to it?

and all that funny plastic gear with groves in it, madpull i believe its called, they all love that stuff these days.

and make it tan, because we live in a green country, it must be tan. and put a silencer and a torch and a laser and a 552 on it.

on a serious note, those stoner jobbies are nice, i actually like those, G&P make them i think.

the masada uses M4 mags (don't quote me, they look the same) and its kinda modern and kewl.

if i was going for a weapon that uses M4 mags, i'd go masada, or Tavor (they use M4 mags to don't they?)

Fully upgraded TM VSR-10 sniper from Z1 which is around £440 and I highly recommend it for the budget you have. Superb accuracy, range and power.

yes the massada take m4 mags.... all mine have fitted fine, but have heard of a few probs....

Just adding my bit to this.

Magpul Masada and if you get it from Zero One they can do a small mod to the hop unit which helps it along a bit. I personally love mine and its now very accurate with pretty much stock internals apart from the hop mod.

Second if you want bullpup then as also suggested by someone a Tavor its very compact and although FUGLY in a major way it just works. By far my most bizzare purchase considering I couldnt stand the damn things until I tried one it really does just work.

Both of the above work with STANGS without any issues.

If pushed I would say go with the Masada everytime and get your self a nice folding / sliding stock for it as well as it does add to the weapon. If you like your gun porn a 551 ontop works looks wise very nicely as well.

Only downside of this suggestion is that the Masada's are getting quite common to see now but thats life.

Finally see Boris's highly amusing post above it should be in BLACK not any other colour
