  • Best C rated 7.4v lipo?

Started looking for some 7.4v lipo's but not sure which C rating is best to go for.

Any tips would be great also advise on what batteries (make) & charger is recommended.

For the charger i was thinking IMAX B6?
    Cheers

imax b6 a good charger, as for the C rating, the higher the better really, depending on the size/where you are going to fit it

      Yeah the higher the better.

Remember, a motor cannot draw "more" than it needs, but if you haven't got the umph to start with, then its pointless.

For example, a 25C 1200mah 7.4v battery will have a better ROF and trigger response (even if only marginally) than a 15C 1200mAh 7.4v battery.

I won't buy a 7.4v battery that's less than 20C, or unless its at such a good price, or there's two of the same ones which can be swapped out etc.

I'm currently looking at getting a 14.8v 3500mAh 35C battery to power my Burst M16.

        C by itself means nothing,

        850mah 30c = Not so good (25amps)

        2500mah 15c = Good (37.5amps)

          Aim for 30amps min (constant)

          Mah x C = Amps

          I.e. a 3000mah 10c is ok.
And a 1000mah 30c is exactly the same but will not last as long

Thanks for the reply guys. The battery's are going in my single point sling and will be used on a rear wired KAC PDW.
