        Re: Ris Help

Well I've had a couple, and all I've seen have fitted 20mm. It will have details wherever your purchasing it from, saying what it fits.

            Re: Ris Help

all Eotechs fit 20mm, as do most sights that you would use for airsoft.
there is an 11mm rail for air rifles/ pistols.

So what you are asking is can you drill some holes in your gun and screw an aftermarket rail on? Yes you can.

                      Re: Ris Help

it can be done i did it to my old one before i sold it.
                      1/buy a length of ris
2/remove the reciever cover you will need to remove the stock to do this (i can provide a dissasembly link )
3/ mark the screw hole positions through the rail onto the top of the reciever.
4/ 4mm drill to drill reciever
                      5/countersink these holes from inside
6/use short m4 countersink screws from the inside and either tap your existing holes in the ris rail or use nuts set in the rail hole recess and cut screws to length if to long

their is about 3mm clearence between the inside of the reciever cover and the top of the piston assembly. link below for dissasembly

                        Re: Ris Help

Mine already came fitted with a rail, but it was plastic and very fragile, so I dug out an old very broken sniper rifle and took the rail off that and fitted it on (The rifle I think is based on a VSR).
