Magpul Masada hop up mod?

Can someone please tell me what this and how to do it??

I keep seeing it mentioned, but cant find no info

It was done by the shop for me though I do know what they do its not fair to discuss what they did but believe me it really does make a difference and the hop is not able to be set spot on. So well worth the cost.

They probably added magic.

It's either going to be replacing the stock bucking with a normal one, or reshaping the cam in the adjuster so you can apply more hop.

but sadly Zeroone isnt near me!

i dont fancy paying to get the gun shipped, the work, then i shipped back!

Not really, but i have noticed the hop doesn't do all that much

I mean other guns, hop all on/off makes a huge difference.

Is firing very nice, but if i can get it a bit better...

My Masada's hop went off a bit after using it in a very cold weather game (-3). Turned out the hop rubber had worked loose, one it was re-seated, the air seal was restored and it works perfectly. Check yours hasnt come loose

its not tha its bad... just if this makes it better id like to do it :D

can you go over how to check though, and I will... this a weird hop up as its on the actual barrel as you know

The way i improved mine was to replace the rubber and bucking with Element ones and when installed, i loosened the retaining screw slightly on the barrel unit which allows the barrel to move slightly further back in the body and give a better airseal improving power as well!

The sleeve that fits over the barrel is a standard one, the bucking is an Ares proprietary one... you could work a standard one in there though, but it'd fall out when you used the quick change barrel...
