hi guys, looking at getting my first pistol and have taken a shine to the kj works p226! for £99.95 it looks a bargain but how reliable will it be and perform?? any advice will appreciated:D

i can honestly say screw tm kj is the way forward my m9 but kj outperforms some wa guns and i happen to have fired a p226 in real and its a very good copy.

TM will give you marginally better internals, but KJW are full metal and feel so much better.

It depends on what you want. If you want it to look good, then go TM as they get their trades right. If you want it to feel right, get the KJW.

I've got the SigArms licenced version of the KJW 229 and it's great. I've fired the real thing and the KJW feel so close to it. Obviously, the recoil is not as hard, but it feels just like a real steel with a very light load in it.

My 229 has never let me down. The mags feed well (but remember to keep them topped up a little and to silicone the seals) and, if you hunt around enough, you may find one with full trades. If not, try looking for one of the SigArms ones if you want the correct markings. As a bonus, they come out of the factory in a fitted Sig case.

Ive fired romeo's p226 and its mad i have never felt so much kick in a gas pistol in all my life

Ive shot both and the KJ works wins hands down! Yeah it uses a bit more gas blar, blar, blar but its a cracking gun for the money and the TM internals fit anyway if you ever want to upgrade the inside.

Forget the TM go for the KJ, i guarantee you'll be very happy with it.

Well, I'm going to have to stick up for the TM some more. Firing side by side the TM was much more consistent in terms of accuracy and range.

lol, i guess it all boils down to personal preference, i prefer the full metal heft of the kj works, consistency and accuracy in a pistol isnt a priority to me cos if im close enough to use a pistol then its almost impossible to miss.
