Full metal MP5 CA or ICS or Other

Hi,

I am looking for a full metal MP5, probably an SD6 or A5. I have seen that there is 2 models, one from Classic Army, the other from ICS.

Have held the CA which I found pretty good but I haven't see the ICS. What is the best one regarding finish and reliability.

Regarding the mag, which one is the most compatible. Does they can take different mag brand?

I also have a 229mm Prometheus waiting, I have seen that the SD6 can take a longer one. Does the difference is noticeable.

i had a thread just like this a while back, from the feedback i was given, go for the CA B&T. Been told the hop unit is superior than other brands and its internals are reliable. However, the guys at my site literally worship ICS and they all seem to own at least one gun of that type.

basically, both are reliable from what i know however, i have only ever used a TM one.

You can't really go wrong with either, both are often recommended as the best makes of MP5
I love my ICS, it's a stupidly good bit of kit and the CA is about the same

If you fancy a three round burst setting, then the ICS MX5 is for you, semi, burst and full auto

CA's externals have let them down of late. A recent B&T MP5 I saw was like a TM - shiny as hell; looked awful. You can't beat them for internals and range though.

NOT ICS imo , either CA (proline) B&T or G&G toptech. the cyma blowback model is very good too though

ICS can be a bit funny with mags but all the others are fine with any mags

CYMA MP5s are worth a look. The EBB are great for the money

Very robust and never misfed from any make of mag I've tried in it

i have a CA B&T SD6 and its fantastic. range is great, internals solid as a rock.

mag compatabilty wise i have used just about every brand mag out there and i havent had any feeding problems what so ever!
