As a back up they are hard to beat. It just works, chances are when you need a back up it a last ditch short range situation. All you want is a gun that will work, AEP beats GBB hands down. You can also add different batteries and springs to give em a bit more power/rof.
Wouldn't recomend one as a primary though, except in a short range CQB Scenario.
The laptop is mightier than the pistol.

I use the ASG G18 AEP (The repackaged CYMA ones) as a sniper backup, i have found it reliable and hasn't misssed a beat and t now fired about 3000 bb's. It has non of the winter hang ups, as long as you have charged the battery you know when you pull the trigger it will fire more than 4 bb's. But only a GBB will make you smile from ear to ear when you fire it.
