  • King Arms Larue 9.0 or G&P Sentry long

After some advice if I may

I am looking at getting either a King Arms Larue 9.0 or a G&P Sentry (black, VLTOR long version). I currently have a Sentry (short, tan Magpul version) and its lovely, although its a pain with the semi sticking issue but all the same I know how good it is.

The Larue is a real good looker with nice Larue receiver, rail system and silver outer barrel so as a different gun im tempted by this as ive got the short sentry already but not sure about the internals. I used to own a King Arms M933 about 18 months ago and it wasnt the best for range but could have been a lemon. Any help in terms of experience with the KA Larue in if its good and what its like compared to the G&P.

Not overley concerned about getting the Sentry as my current one is a short Magpul tan one so the one I would get instead of the Larue would be the black, VLTOR long version.

Any help appreciated on difference and what you rate, cheers :D

All I've heard about kings arms is to change the hop rubber. Other then that there meant to be good.

Could always fit a MOSFET to the G&P to fix the semi lock

I was told when choosing mine that the KA paint is easier to scratch off than the G&P.

I have a KA Larue 9.0 And its superb. Hop rubber was changed but other than that its all good. Its different than most m4 variants you see and in my view a very good aeg

        hope this helps

I noticed that, I saw a larue for $195 plus $80 postage about 4 weeks ago an that seemed a good price

I love my Sentry long, is all I can say haha, downgraded the spring and thats the only thing I have done, I have heard the hop rubber being dodgy but mine is fine. One thing I will say the vltor stock is a b*stard for batteries but you already know that from already owning a Sentry.

I think your looking at the same place as me, It was the lower price about 4-6 weeks ago but its gone up now to the €250 plus shipping as it was on offer, I looked and it worked out only a bit cheaper that buying over here as you can get it for £290 plus postage from the UK.

My budget has been hit though so looking at a G&G m4 variant with RIS, crane stock and blowback for about £150 - £170 (will be plastic receiver) but meant to be good quality and will be 3rd gun behind Sentry and QRF so should be OK :D
