Tanaka Kar 98

Hey everyone

Im currently looking into buying a Tanaka Kar 98 and was wondering if someone who has / had one could give me an overall verdict of them as i seem to be finding mixed reports on skirmishability.

Im not particularly bothered about the 10 round mags or the price of them as that isnt an issue, just how reliable the gun is and if it will stand up to the strains of skirmishing (it would be used as a sniper).
