CA is very good. If you want some fun and realism though, get the WE GBB, and they're only £200 or so.

I had a TM G36C.. was great!!! ive not really tried the others...

i have heard very good things abotu the SRC gen III gun though!! there pretty cheap aswell

Only thing bad with the SRC is the range. Swap the hop unit out for a TM one and it does improve it a fair bit.

Mines been chugging along on a 9.6v for a year or so now and Ive had no problems with it..the ROF with a 9.6 is pretty nice too.

Owned tm jg ca src ares g36 in c k and e forms.
if its an aeg go for an src gen 3 150
tm bodies are aweful to the touch but good internals 225 -250
ca are supposed to be good 220 ish
jg i have had loads and been the most accurate and best in std form 135-150
ares are nice esp the ebb version for about 200
prices approx for the c versions.

My mate had a JG G36c and it was bloody good! Good ROF and distance. Better than the piece of S**t M16 hes got now lol.

So is the Ares(Umarex) G36 family any good?? Im thinking of getting one and popping the AG-36 on. What do people think?

Ares make an incredible G36, the umarex version is essentially the same but is fully licensed by HK. their very robust and perform like a dream. Good range and ROF.

tms plastic seems to have gone the other way! seems nice on the newer guns. the px4 has lovely plastic

Yer guys, it preforms really well and the ebb is realistic. Also the rate of fire is good and fps is 337.

The new ares/Umarex G36C are supposed to be really nice, but if your on a budget then go for a JG, it won't let you down.
