looking for a Pistol... Non GBB
7 August, 2009, 15:38
Being new to Airsoft I need advice on which Sidearm (if I feel I NEED a Sidearm) I should get.
I have owned a GBB Before but it broke (trigger mechanism wont work) and I dont want a GBB Because...
Its too Temperamental (Spelling)
and Green gas is RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED
I was thinking of an Electric CYMA CM030 Glock but if any of you have a Better idea for a Non GBB please tell me.
I am OK getting a CO2 BB or Non BB because its cheaper to run and its easier for me to get CO2 (My local Gun Club sells it in 12g Cartridges)
It does need to be TWO TONE.

Gas isn't expensive anymore, you can get loads for about £7-8. Ive been using the same bottle for over a year now!

Definately go for the Glock, It is fairly powerful and reliable. Oh and get an extended mag, they are AWESOME!
Also, if you look in the right places you can find electric M9s, USPs and Desert Eagles.

Why not get a NBB pistol and then find some propane and a propane adaptor if your site allows it

Re: looking for a Pistol... Non GBB
OK . dont go for a aep . go for a gas nbb it still has the range and kick of a gbb but without the slide recoil,
as for the cyma glock . i woudl't bother as they only go around 25 meters if that
id get the electric usp or socom whatever it called
or go for the TM NBB SOCOM MK23 as it has the range of a under powered sniper rifle and very silent and still pack a punch . .

Re: looking for a Pistol... Non GBB
Get either a DE USP or an NBB gun, NBB's are much more efficient on gas (use less so you get more bang for your buck so to speak) as they dont waste gas blowing a slide back. I have an mk23 and a Ruger mk1 and they are both excellent weapons. They are just like mini sniper rifles in your hand. Get an NBB is my advice like the KJW ruger (i believe the most efficient NBB around, More efficient than a TM MK23) and you wont go far wrong.
