Will you take me seriously ?

Ok basically , I've been on this forum for a few months now after going to my local skirmish site and using rented guns for a few times so I thought I'll get mu Owen gun and use that , that brought me here and I've found a couple I liked but no one will take me seriously , I always state that I the user of the gun is under 18 but the buyer is over 18 , and I know all the rules about two toning. Any advice on what to do about this ? :D

That's easy for you to say as your over 18 and have a ukara , you can get any gun you like but when you've still got a few years to wait till your 18 it's a bit different. P.s love your collection on ww2 guns :D

It's not different at all!

It's not about whether or not we take you seriously or whether or not you're a hugely responsible airsofter. It's the LAW. You're under 18 and as per the LAW we cannot sell you RIFs or Twotones.

IF you're under 18 it's simple. Ask your parents or somebody else, who's over 18, to buy you a two tone gun. IF however, you hand over any money for that gun, or do any service for the gun, etc, like washing your parent's cars for 40 weeks, then that's committing an offence.

It'd also be an offence to paint the gun black w/o a defence against the VCRA.

Not fair that you've gotta wait? I'm sure there's many people in your shoes.

This is what no one seems to understand , if the buyer is over 18 it's legal , lots of my friend have done it on this forum.

It isn't about being 'easy to say', it's THE LAW. It may suck boaby, but it ain't gonna change bud. You can't get into the pub for a pint till you are 18, canny see a porno in the pictures, etc, etc. It's how it is, and just be thankfull you are around now, as it only ever gets worse as the nanny state decides we are all naughty children who are going to be sent to bed early without our tea.

Oh, and ta, just added another Mp40 to it. :p

My best advice:

1, Learn to use the English language more effectively.

2, Only look at two-toned weapons (or those that can be two-toned), then have this 'over 18 buyer' make contact with the seller (and then only if they have a way of proving they are over 18). Then they may 'gift you' the weapon once they have it, if I understand the rules correctly (which, granted, I may not).

9/10 times it is the buyer contacting them but they just say if and under 18 is going to use it then I'm not selling it to you even if the buyer is over 18 and that's on two toned guns , I know its there choice but that's just a bit silly.

Furthermore, a note from the ZeroIn Team, as per TKOS' post.

If we catch you - that is "bailey715" - purchasing, or attempting to purchase Imitation Firearms/ Two Tones or Replica Imitation Firearms/ RIFs, then the chances are you'll be banned from Classifieds access. So you'd need someone over 18 to physically sign up to the forum, as we can't deal via you. Sorry

Silly, perhaps, but the seller has the right to decide who's offer he likes, and who's he's not interested in.

The word you need to focus on here is PATIENCE. Be it waiting till you are 18, or waiting till your over 18 benefactor is able to secure you an IF.

My advice to you is, if you want one so much just get your dad/mum to get you one for Christmas/birthday and then it is perfectly legal! Plus, if your parents have a UKARA then they can get you a black gun and that is still legal!

Thanks every1 for the advice , but I'm very impatient lol , so I've found a site to sell ,me either a m14 socom , a sten or a Thompson m1a1 in two tone so I've just got to decide now. :D

Im confused.com... what exactly is your question?

Are you trying to ask if its ok for someone over 18 to buy you a 2tone?

The short answer is yes, it is perfectly fine for someone over 18 to give you a 2tone, HOWEVER as others have said you cannot buy one, you cannot give someone the money to buy one for you or anything like that. It has to be exactly what it says on the tin, a gift.

I have a feeling the reason people dont take you seriously is because a) you type like a 4yr old and b) you say things like:

"THAT IS SO UNFAAAAIR"

Getting any of those guns 2toned should be punishable by death... also what part of "IT IS ILLEGAL FOR AN UNDER 18 TO BUY A GUN, ANY GUN AT ALL, WHETHER ITS 2TONE OR NOT" do you not understand?
