padding for vests??

how do you get this??
i have just bought a vest the sae as my OD one, but this one has no padding within the Molle vest... how do i get this??

As above but for plates a lot of rif boxes have 1 inch foam in it, good for cutting out to plate size...

This has been asked a few times.
The general answers were:
Camping mats
Carpet
cardboard etc
Personally though I actually cut out Wooden shaped plates for my ospery.

How about trying carpet underlay? You would need about a meters worth so about a fiver and would make about, what 4 inserts? Hmmm might try that.

What about the weight?
Especialy if it gets wet, might be like lugging a suitcase around all the time.
Camping roll mat is light and waterproof.

carpet tiles taped front to front.perfect.used them as fake plates 4 years.rigid yet flexible

hmm i think i may try this on my pointman vest, as it can be bloomin uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time

the guy i bought it off forgot to pack it!! lol
so it should shortly be with me!!
i May buya matt anyways if there cheap.. or use the padding out of my OD one!!

lol nah I got mine second hand and it came with none. The shame seems fine but then all I have on it is a camel back and a dump pouch so maybe when I have some mag pouches on it I'll need something so who knows?!
