best advice for a new player?

Hi guys

Im taking my nephew next week to his first time airsofting, ive been once and i know the basics and what to expect.
The guys i go with are really good and know the score and are experienced

Ive sorted out a hire package for him at the site and told him to stick with me for the day

any other advice to give him? he is 14 btw

Some basic don from a surplus will do for clothing, some decent boots that give ankle support (hiking boots will be fine). Somebody will lend you eye protection they are the main areas covered. Only simple things like taking lots of water as with the weather being like it is at the moment a dull day could turn into a scorcher. Apart from that just have fun. Make sure he understands the rules completely, I know some rule briefings can be a little rushed.

be honest and enjoy it to the max!

get him some gloves!!! anda somehting to ear around his neck!!

try not to over heat.. it doesnt hurt that much when your shot.

liek the others said, make sure he understand the rules that you are playing and just have fun :D

make sure he understands the safety rules. As other posters have said some gloves worse place to get shot is on the hands or finger tips good eye protection I would think that due to his age the site would require a full facemask? Id tell him to enjoy his self and to have fun cause thats what its all about at the end of the day.
