G&G dosome good m4 with enough let over for a sight and spare mag and battery

With £400 to spend why bother getting a G&G when You could get and G&P?

With £400 to spend on the gun and accesories you could easily get:
G&P m4 - £230
Mag mid caps - £50
Batteries - £30
Excel bbs - £8
And then some good eye protection and a rig.

And if you have £400 excluding accesories your options are greatly expanded for customisation such as sights, RIS's etc.

G&G < G&P. If you have £400 get the G&P, or if that is purely on the rifle then you might be able to get yourself a second hand Sopmod if you're lucky.

The g26 just isn't nice, it's not even a matter of opinion, it is mathematical, logical and philosophical fact that the g26 is the most horrible looking gun on the planet and shouldn't be mentioned ever again unless strictly nessecary. And when it is refered to, it should only be called the gun.
