Sights for a M4 - Acog and Red Dot/Holo
4 July, 2011, 18:25
Hey guys, looking for new sights for me M4. Ideally want an acog and a red dot/holo sight, so i can switch depending on tactics and skirmish location.
So basically what sights should i be looking at, obviously ive been looking at the Aimpoint and EOTech, both the real ones and the clones.
What are the Best clones? Ive heard good things about some of the G&P ones, but really want peoples opinions on those who have used them in all weather and operations.
What should i be looking at, even the real ones if thats what you prefer what brand and model etc. Just looking for ideas at the min, so i can have a look at each one.
Thanks everyone!!!

Re: Sights for a M4 - Acog and Red Dot/Holo
If youre looking for something you can use in multiple situations, I suggest using the set up I have for sale
Aimpoint for outdoor ranges, flip it to the side and use the iron sights for indoors and CQB. Works a real treat!
Real steel ones are too much for what they offer. At £100+, I would hope that they actually did have the effects you see in COD!

I concur.
Purchase Ben's setup that he has for sale and I may attempt to negotiate a fee for this reply.

G&P do a little doctor sight that you can mount on top of an acog. No need to swap between then.

for irsoft, ACM. The sorts of ranges, and the actual accuracy you get with the gun anyway, anything else is just overkill. Id rather have a choice of sights, that do the job perfectly well, than 1 super expensive sight that does more than I need it to

I believe you should use Aimpoint for outdoor ranges, flip it to the side and use the iron sights for indoors and CQB. Works a real treat!
I also further believe that a forum member has a set up just like this for sale somewhere?
Boo-Sabum-Keith, I think his name is??

LOL definately, good work ben, you should be on real hussle lol
The OP literally answered his own question, you want a 4x acog with a doctor sight on top. Or of course, an aimpont with flip to the side mount and iron sights still attached to your gun!

Re: Sights for a M4 - Acog and Red Dot/Holo
yeah im not looking for one super sight that does it all, i want a seperate acog and then a seperate red dot or holo. So then i can change between acog, red dot and iron sights depending on what game im playing.
