I was wondering what you think of the Ics split gearbox and the ics M4's
range,quality and fps?

fantastic peice of kit, had mine a year now and never missed a beat. Split gearbox is a dream to work with, highly recommended.

Agreed, fantastic bits of kit
I'm working on my M16's split box as we speak, but if it was a one piece I don't think I'd have bothered opening it up

most of my guns are ICS, they are a good reliable bits of kit. The are great in the field and are very good at taken a fair amount of punishment. Highly recommend.

The only downfall i've heard is that they aren't compatible was aftermarket external upgrades such as handguards and stocks
How do you over come that problem ?

I run both an ICS MP5 and M16 and neither have let me down
Both have great range and accuracy

they can take aftermarket parts but will require some modding, or just buy ICS aftermarket parts

Fair point!
I was looking for a replacement handguard as the ics one is too shiny, is there any aftermarket grips that fit?

ive never tried but I know ICS handguards are smaller than most others, but on my ICS sportline so you can move the front site post to accommodate larger ones.

Same as above posts my ics m4 is solid has not let me down had it since january.
Split gearbox is very handy indeed.

Ah great
The only difference with the sportline is the plastic body right?
are the internals are the same in the proline and sportline?

I bought an ICS for the split gearbox so it'd be easy to fix. Turns out it never needed fixing...
