BE aug
7 July, 2011, 11:05
Cut out the hate :P, I see you hate them but I am just looking to buy one mostly as a back up/ wall hanger it will not see much use at all and it fits my budget but my question is what differences are there between the phantom and the swat, is it just the barrel length or is there more than that?

Wall hanger = yes
Backup = no
Remember a back up is so that you can carry on playing. If your gun won't let you play, it's not a backup!

Re: BE aug
ah its not really a skirmishing back up tbh so not too worried at the moment. Shame the phantom is out of stock everywhere as the stubby barrel is god aweful.

Re: BE aug
Should do, may need some tape to make them fit snug as the mag wells are normally a bit larger on clones. Pics?

Re: BE aug
Just the position of the mag catch and the top profile on the BE mag, and inside the magwell should do it. If you could annotate with measurements that would be awesome.
I'll measure up a mag that I have access to (not mine but I know someone with some) and see how they compare.
King Arms mags are pretty good at fitting in clones, may be worth looking into. Know anybody with an AUG nearby?

Yes, they will fit. When JG stopped making the AUG, BE bought their moulds. I used TM mags in my JG and they were fine.

Re: BE aug
Is there any need of these pics anymore? I already broke part of the flash hider, not the guns fault all mine, so would a TM/JG barrel fit or is it just a BE one? There are plenty long barrel BE in the US breaking for spares but would I be breaking any laws if I bought just the barrel? I'm non-ukara by the way.

Re: BE aug
I'm not a UKARA master, you could import the barrel no problem however assembling it may be naughty?
How does it perform?

Re: BE aug
Just another post for people to laugh at me about. I give input and get laughed at. Just another day at the office...
Proof BE made their AUG first? Explain then how this is common knowledge at my site?
