Hi,
So exactly what the tittle is asking tbh,
Thinking of getting a 552 and want to know what gearbox it has for upgrades.
Thanks
And not sure if this thread is in the right section.

Re: Jg sig 552 gearbox type?
I have a JG Sig550 and I believe it's a V2 and V3 cross breed. HK sites have Sig 55x specific gearboxes because of the ambidextrous fire selector and the motor supports. I haven't had it apart but I would imagine that using V2/3 parts would be fine.

Re: Jg sig 552 gearbox type?
Well, I kinda need to know which parts are compatible, for example does it use v3 or v2 spring guides and what air nozzle and cylinder head does it use. Thanks.

Re: Jg sig 552 gearbox type?
It'll be a version 3
Why?
a) The JG is a clone of the TM (which I own and is version 3)
b) The version 2 gearbox would not fit
The thing that is specific is the motor "cage", or rather lack of.
