    Good guns for SWWG

    Hey guys I just found a local site and it looks like a pretty cool place to go for my first skirmish. What sort of guns should I get for going their? The site is called South West War Games. If any of you have been their before please comment saying what gun is the best. CQB/Woodland? From the pictures it seems a mixture of both. Thanks.

    Unfortunately they lost the village due to new ownership, so the new guy ousted them with no notice, and recently (today) again with no notice the MOD has just decided to close the fort down to all non forces personnel. However do keep your eyes peeled, gaz and pete are looking as we speak for a new area and they are hopeful the 24th is still on.
    In regards to your question though something like an AK or an M4 seems to work well with good range but short enough for when the going gets close.

    2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.

        Yep. Reccomend an AK74MN. Nice n long and sturdy for the long range moments, but equipped with a folding(but solid) stock for cqb!

          Would an MP5 do the job.

            Most guns are the same internals around a different shell. So anything will do

              If this is your first skirmish you will want to look up the law with regard to buying airsoft weapons (RIF's). Simple answer is you can't, not yet anyway so look into renting or borrowing if going with existing players.

              Lots of info on these forums.

                Can still buy IFs though...

                Anyway...if you want an MP5, get a CA B&T. Nothing better.
