small springs to go over the tappet plate ina gear box

hello all,

ive been having problems with my GP V2 gear box.

I think I have now worked out the problem.

its the small spring that goes over the selector plate, which in a GP gear box, chooses if its in single or full auto.

now the wuestion is, where can I go to buy small springs..

Id rather get somethign in a high street, so I can go get it today, rather than order online.

Where would sel springs similar to these?

a watch makers?

Mods could you fix the title of the post as its not the tappet plate

Your thinking of the spring between the fire selector and the cut of lever.
Many chinasoft sites and loads of certain scotish retailers sell spring setts for v2/v3.

yeah, think thats the bugger.... its the only spring outside the gearbox!!

the problem is I wanna get it today, rather than wait for the post....

I like things done, not hanging around... lol

Get a pack of cheap disposable lighters like 10 for a pound from a shop of that price. Under the Flint wheel there's a spring pushing up the Flint. If you cut this about in half and use that - works a treat on mine

Last minute scrounging on a Saturday night as I've been tinkering for the next days skirmish. Just dint know when to stop tinkering sometime lol
