Kit for a whole day skirmish
18 July, 2011, 20:22
Hi All,
It's going to be my first skirmish on the 31st and I was wondering if this a good selection of kit for a whole day skirmish?
Warrior Centurion
6 Warrior double mag pouches
10 King Arms 120rd Midcaps
8 MAG 130rd Midcaps
Revision Desert Locust Goggles
Black Bear Shadow mesh face mask
Thanks for your help

Re: Kit for a whole day skirmish
well, for starters you've more mags than you can carry =/ but id add a set of allen tools & screw drivers, ALWAYS handy to carry be it for yourself or a team mate (if either of you know what your tinkering with) id also add a hydration pouch
personally you've missed what i consider THE most important bit of essencial kit after safety specs & thats a good pair of boots!
have fun at your first skirmish! :D

Re: Kit for a whole day skirmish
agree with bill there
one thing we need to know where are you skirmishing? then we can judge if thats enough gear or way too much because really it appears good for a milsim/weekender but for a general skirmish defiantly too much

Then all i can really add is more mag pouches / less mags & maybe a set of comms, theres bound to be someone on your team using um that'll share their channel with ya

Re: Kit for a whole day skirmish
I wouldnt bother carrying tools, take them and leave them in the car is a good bet, just more junk to lose on site. Have you also got a spare battery or one with a big enough capacity to last the day?
Youre carrying over 2000 bbs! this is an awful lot of bbs, are you using mids for the quiet factor rather than the milsim one?

Re: Kit for a whole day skirmish
GZW, the only two pieces of essential kit there are
1. Eye protection
2. Good boots- GZ is very rough terrain, lots of running up and down hills
Obviously its good to have a weapon, magazines, ammo, whatever your gun runs on. I'd also really recommend a water bottle, hydration pack or something similar
G&G TR15 Raider XL, CA G36K, G&G MP5A4, Cyma Thompson, APS AKS-74U, Custom TM Uzi, DE M56, WE Nighthawk X2, Cyma Glock 18C
RD Customs MG42, The Bone Cannon And Project Balderdash.
If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

i always keep my allen keeys on a carabina in a chest pouch, they've been invaluable on maaaaaaaaaany occasions. but i guess thats just personal preference.
