Comms Query
19 July, 2011, 11:21
Ready a lot of threads, I see mention of radios. I understand that these are used on large skirmishes, and I think it's an excellent idea.
What I am confused about is what kind of radio to buy. It's there a specific model everyone buys or do you just have to make sure it picks up the same frequency as everyone else?
Cheers fellas

Re: Comms Query
There's loads of different types people will recommend. Personally, I went Motorola for easy of compatibility with various different headsets

Re: Comms Query
My main concern was getting one with a headset, so I can keep both hands on my rifle. So I think motorola is winning at the moment...

Re: Comms Query
Well, others use compatible pin configuration, I just went Motorola for ease, plus the fact it was cheap enough

Re: Comms Query
If you look about the sites, or bay you can frequently get a package deal of radio and head set, the gear and kit or accessories threads on this forum are worth a look for such packages
