Re: Whats the best paint to use?
Krylon works well but you should use several coats, even so itll probably chip off in places especially the butt and where you grip the rifle so you may have to repaint it every so often. A good side of krylon is that its ultra flat as well so no risk of your gun reflecting sun into everyones eyes

Re: Whats the best paint to use?
ive used krylon so far, light sand on the SPR. its is nice, but i think i should have used a can of halfords grey primer first, as i feel it might start chipping
i seem to remember that fella who had a scar and an m14 in his signature? he had done custom paint jobs but he used a different company, cant for life of me remember his name but if he reads this, let me know cos im after them, krylon have a pretty pathetic range.

Re: Whats the best paint to use?
isn't there a flat type of varnish to put on the top coats that will help prevent chipping more than a few thin coats of krylon?

Re: Whats the best paint to use?
If you want your paint to last a long time then use etch primer instead of standard primer.
