eye protection for spectacle wearer

am slowly putting my kit together and am stuck about which mask/goggles to get- was thinking of getting BL od mesh goggles and cutting a bit of the foam out at the sides so the frame of my glasses fits through - anyone else had this problem and how did you get round it???
