Re: Brand - rifle advice
Budget? No point in recommending something that's £500 if you're budget's £200
Also, gas or electric?

Re: Brand - rifle advice
Very broad ball park here buddy, a lot of brands make better versions of AEG's than others, if you were more specific in the they type you are interested in you would be able to get more specific help.
Then cost comes in to play as you will soon find out what a money sink it is :D

Re: Brand - rifle advice
As the others said to give better advice would need to know a rough budget & what models you were interested in.
However if you're deffinately after something with blowback then for electric guns I would check out the Tokyo Marui recoil series I believe there is only an AK, M4, and recce rifle so far but there is no doubt in my mind that although slightly pricey they are probably the best. Alternatively for variety you could check out the Umarex range as they do electric blowback MP5's G36's HK416's etc which are supposed to be pretty good.
If Gas blowback is more to your liking then I'd say check out KSC for SMG's like the mp7 etc, and for assault rifles WE or Western Arms(WA) produce the most and if your currently able to re morgage for airsoft then check out the Innokatsu M4's

Re: Brand - rifle advice
hey guys , thanks for advice so far ,budget wise looking at about £200 to start .
i hear GBB is good , but you can tear through gas . so would prob focus more towards EBB.
model/series/gun wise
m4 - series g36 or rifles alike . something with a good ROF, and also reliable. ideally full metal, something with weight to it for realism.
cheers

From what I've seen Electric Blow Back should be steered away from.

Re: Brand - rifle advice
Well then, from the specs and budget you're looking at.
WE G39c
They are supposably fantastic and very affordable
Make the switch the propane and it won't cost you as much as you think either

Re: Brand - rifle advice
While the G39c comes in on budget £200 if you can find it in stock, don't forget to budget about £40 per mag as well

Re: Brand - rifle advice
For your first gun I'd go for an AEG - TM, Umarex and G&P are good in my opinion,

Re: Brand - rifle advice
Look at TM's recoil rifles. Not too much recoil but enought to make it a little more real. If you have the money and are willing to spend time taking care of your rifle get a GBB rifle. WE are making some pretty good stuff atm.

Re: Brand - rifle advice
Been said before, will be said again, get a Tokyo Marui SOPMOD or SOCOM
link:SOPMOD-

SOCOM-
http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/produc...oducts_id=5494
That or get a WE open bolt rifle like the G39, KAC PDW or the M14.
Good luck hope you find what you're looking for.
Oh also have you checked out these threads on the law surrounding RIFs i assume you have but i'll post 'em anyway.

All those recommending the TM recoil series, you know his budget is £200, right?
