Cold Steel Training Knife Question
20 July, 2011, 22:46
Does anyone have any experience with Cold Steel's range of training knives? What I'd really like to know is if the rubber blades will bend over 90 degrees.
Any clues would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

Re: Cold Steel Training Knife Question
I have one of the newer models (Ka-Bar style) and it's pretty solid. It's pretty flexible but you kinda have to force it as the blade's a millimeter thick. I'd recommend any of the Cold Steel training knives. They're pretty solid and fun to mess around with.

Re: Cold Steel Training Knife Question
Nah, just regular, good old fashioned, center of the front or rear mass, flat of the blade knife kills. That's why blade has to bend over 90 degrees.
Just to clarify, TangoNoob, does the Cold Steel blade bend at a right angle?

Re: Cold Steel Training Knife Question
I don't have one for the reason I was told they are too rigid for some game sites. It is a shame really but I just use my M9, the only knife I know of that is readily available and allowed on most sites.

Re: Cold Steel Training Knife Question
I think what the OP wants is a knife that WILL bend at 90 degrees easily as some sites only allow "Bendy" knives

Re: Cold Steel Training Knife Question
I have a cold steel "bear" knife and it barley bends at all. Its pretty painful to be jabbed in the ribs with, so I dont.

Not really, you'd have to force it to the point of breaking.
Man site rules are pretty strict on your side of the pond :/
