how to measure barrels

right
basically i just got a G&G toptech T418 and have seen many reviews where they say it comes with a pre installed tight bore and some don't mention anything or just arnt sure, how do you actually measure the diameter?

Use some form of high precision measures, cant remember the technical name but they look like an adjustable spanner/wrench

Get yourself a decent set of "digital vernier calipers" Pick em up for about 20 quid and most will measure to 0.01mm so there sweet for internal diameters of barrels.

vernier calipers arent accurate enough, you'll need a micrometer to measure barrel diameter.
plus unless its an insanely high end barrel the true diameter will vary quite a lot through the barrel

The cheaper ones will be good enough to tell the difference between a tb and 6.08.

Yeah mine are vernier calipers :/ just looked at the box. Measured my barrel and it says it is exactly what its meant to be
