Best AEG MP5K?
26 July, 2011, 08:53
As the title would suggest, I'm looking for people's opinions on what manufacturer makes the best AEG MP5K.
Looking to extend my arsenal a little and like the idea of the MP5K for a backup when it comes to CQB.
Any other SMG reccomendations would be welcome also, bear in mind it will be carried as a secondary.

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
Had both the TM and Galaxy one and it would be the TM one every time great range, average ROF with the usual TM reliability.

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
Galaxy one is rubbish i heard. However, Cyma make a very good one with metal receiver and a good weight to it. Also has pretty decent range and accuracy, probably doesnt have quite as much range as the TM but since its for CQB, get a CYMA as it feels nicer to hold.

Classic Army if you can find one. Reliability of the Tokyo Marui and feel of the Cyma means happiness for all!

Maybe get the Cyma one as its pretty cheap, and then do up the gearbox and make it high speed.

I was initally looking at the GBB's and as much as I love my GBB G36, I fancy giving an AEG a go, after being out of the game for a very long time and seeing how far AEG's have come, my opinion and choice has changed.
Ok, so far narroewed down to TM, CA and Cyma.

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
CA would be the one to go for, but it's £210 compared to the TM at £160.
Not had a play with the CYMA but I hear it's ok, although it can be a little hard to get hold of.
Had a Galaxy and it was great for £65, although the plastic can be a bit too brittle, it fired really well out the box and I was impressed for the money.
Now have a TM which I bought second hand, as it's only a backup there's no way could justify splashing the cash on the CA, and it makes a great little CQB primary, or woodland backup

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
Got a cyma mp5k and its great out of the box .the bad bits are th rate of fire not as good as my full sized cyma mp5 but that may be down to the battery as i only have the stick type that comes with it. also it is heavy as aback up this may be pain for you. good bit are the range shoots as for as most my other aeg s how ever accuracy isnt its strong point at range but hitting a human target at 30 40 meters is easy. its also half the price of the classic army version so you could buy two and go matrix style.

Got a CYMA Mp5K Yesterday, it's nice and weighty with good externals, has a nice range and good accuracy.
Hero to some, Villain to most.

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
I know the Galaxy gets a bit of a bad press but mine is brilliant, I love it to bits. I strap on a 9.6v and it ups the ROF to a good rate and is just awesome fun and gets some attention because of the noisy motor which everybody seems to like the sound of. I've owned Marui's, Ares etc and still none as much fun as my Galaxy...and it cost me £80 with 3 high caps... sale of the century!

Re: Best AEG MP5K?
Cyma, but then get a high speed motor for it and a slightly weaker spring as i believe its running at around 370.
Then you'll have a nice robust gun with good range and accuracy and for not to much money.
