  • Tokyo Marui Hop unit info needed

This is going to sound really stupid from somebody like me. But i need info on a TM hop unit. Basically is the M4 version available to buy on its own? I have seen the plastic ones, but does TM do metal hop units.

I have heard how wonderous the TM guns are due to their hop units etc.

Also the tm m4 hop seems to be missing the bit that feeds bbs to it, is this a separate part?

Yes you are great normally :D

Is your hop unit two piece or one piece?

The TM unit isn't great, it's more about the rubber and other factors. If you got one piece unit. The steal of the day can be found on these forums. Madbull Ultimate unit for £17. Almost brought it myself, but then I'd have more Madbull hop units that guns... and that is clearly the actions of a moron!

I have 1 piece metal hop units in all my m4s, I also replace the original hop rubber and bucking with a tm one as soon as I get any aeg (unless its a tm obviously)

Metal isn't what makes it good. And 99% of M4 units (inc the TM one) suffer the same design flaw. Hence the Neo and Ultimate units are the best choices, as they designed differently!

Aren't all TM M4 units two piece ones? If you have a 2 piece aren't you going to need a new lower receiver as well?
