iv already held talks with a guy over the trade of this gun with my moderatly modded JG sig 552 but need your guys help to make the final decision.



FPS: stock so around 270
Make: TM with additional parts
Non Two tone: Yes
what has it had done to it: Internally its standard as far as I am aware, I have owned it for 3 years and its only been used a handful of times since, I tend to use gas guns down the tunnel when im down there.
When was it last serviced: It was serviced before I received it, due to its lack of use I haven't had it done since.
Does it have any ris rails : Yes, three on the Ris block at the front. I used it for a torch.
does it have detatchable flashider : Yes

Other points to note: Single point sling mount, replacement grip, RIS Block
Damage / work required: I repaired a nick in the body in the red box on the photo, missing faux selector, grub screw missing from barrel fixing.
Mags: Im sure I have about 4-5 HK logo polymer midcaps (as in the photo) and a metal highcap
is it full metal or abs
ABS, not TM body (the original had a broken tab, a common issue on TM M4's) so I sourced a non OEM replacement.

Basically your asking to be spoon fed.
I would no
1) tm m4s are quite poor imo.
2) and never swap , swaps can go bad very bad.

I agree. In my experience. Swaps are not always the easiest transactions, and someone nearly always ends up disappointed.

Especially if the other party offered to trade they're probably trying to trade up.

swaps are'nt always bad, i have the joy of high feedback so tend to get the person to send first and get eyes on it unless i trust them. Saying that though why dont you meet or use the escrow service and get zi to give it a once over?..


EDTI: and im sorry but i don't see what your trying to achieve from putting it on a thread, youre not going to get a definitive answer and its your choice..

well the guys coming to my house for the swap and i have a guy with a good m4 knowlege there to look it over.
from the looks of things he says its tidy needs about £10 spent and itll be shooting like a trooper.
so im inticed

my techy says the only possible problem is a abs receiver

If he's prepared to do face to face, youre 99% time fine as you can check and turn him down if needs be. Has he got good feedback?...

but for what its worth trading a working jg for a working marui is a good deal right especially since il get our site gun doctor to tear it apart after the swap?

Thankyou for your comments guys and alot insight was gained.
this gun will be swapped either on my skirimish site where it will be tested vigorously and checked by my gun doctor or my house where it shall be plinked for 30 mins solid to test its internals.
i feel the offer is good and am willing to see it through.
